Illinois Health Agents was founded by two Chicagoland insurance colleagues in 2007. After working for several Chicago-based brokerage firms over the duration of their careers, they noticed that people looking for an individual or family health insurance policy did not have access to a lot of reliable resources. The big firms only wanted to work on high commission clients while the small firms usually assigned inexperienced staffers and recent college graduates to work on individual polcies, often giving insufficient or incorrect information and frustrating the client.
Almost anyone can become an insurance broker. This is apparent by the hundreds of websites offering health insurance services. However, most of these websites sell insurance policies in almost every state and are not familiar with a state's insurance market. Other websites sell your information to several local agents and have them compete for your business. At ILhealthagents.com, we specialize solely in the Illinois insurance market and will never distribute or sell your information.
